Victorian Snow Day
Last night, while the town slumbered, a thick blanket of heavy, wet snow fell from the sky, knee-deep. As soon as the children awoke and peered outside, they knew the snow was far too deep for them to make it to the schoolhouse, which could mean only one thing: SNOW DAY!
It seems the entire town has had the same idea. Everyone has donned their warmest coats and dresses, and their ice skates, and dragged their toboggans down to the woodland park where the pond has frozen over. Local musicians have come to play carols, and the barker wanders through the park offering fresh popcorn and piping hot coffee. Just be sure to stay wide of Smith's Clearing if you don't want to join in the snowball fight!
